I live in West Sussex with my husband and two teenage sons. Being the daughter and granddaughter of artists, my interest in art began at an early age. I spent much of my childhood drawing, painting and modelling with my sister and mother. I completed an Art Foundation course at Newcastle College of Art before gaining an honours degree (1982-85) in 3D Design specialising in jewellery at West Surrey College of Art and Design, Farnham (now UCA Farnham).

My designs are inspired by natural forms and incorporate semi-precious stones with sterling silver; all items are hallmarked. I also have a passion for ethnic jewellery and have designed pieces influenced by Moroccan, Afghan and Indian motifs.

In addition I draw, paint, print and sew and love the way that these different disciplines stimulate an abundance of ideas in my work.

I currently exhibit in galleries in Scotland, Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex.
